Nobody falls behind in an online course because a single lesson was too difficult. They fall behind because a busy week turns into two, and picking things back up starts to feel like a chore. Habits are what protect you from that.
1. Fix a time, not a target
"I'll finish module three this week" is easy to push to Sunday night. "Tuesday and Thursday, 7 to 8 pm" is a lot harder to skip. Put the sessions in your calendar like any other appointment.
2. Keep sessions short
Forty-five focused minutes teach more than three distracted hours. Stop while you still have energy, and you will be glad to come back the next day.
3. Do the practical work straight away
Finish a lesson, then do its quiz or assignment before you move on. Using an idea within minutes of hearing it is the single most reliable way to remember it.
4. Write down one thing you learned
One sentence, in your own words, at the end of every session. Over a few months it becomes a record of how far you have come, and a useful set of notes before an interview.
5. Protect the streak, not the pace
Some days you will only manage ten minutes. Take them. A small session keeps the routine alive, and the routine is what carries you to the end of the course.
